As the founder and Medical Director of The Center for Optimum Health in Los Angeles, CA., Dr. Green specializes in Integrative/Wellness Medicine, combining conventional or allopathic medicine together with natural, nutritional, herbal, complementary and alternative therapies. In addition to his practice of general family medicine, Dr. Green has over 30 years of experience working in integrative healthcare settings with a wide range of other practitioners of complementary and alternative healthcare.

Dr. Green completed his medical training May 1985 at Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. His undergraduate education was completed at Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology. Dr. Green’s post graduate medical training in family medicine was completed at Montgomery Family Practice Residency Program, Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

For over 15 years Dr. Green had served on the faculty of the University Of California, Irvine, School Of Medicine as assistant clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine. There he taught other physicians, residents and medical students the principals and practice of natural and integrative medicine. He frequently lectures to other healthcare practitioners as well as the general community on various topics related to complementary and holistically oriented medicine.
